the challenge

Here’s the challenge: to chronicle my first year of teaching as much as I can.

My goal is to blog at least once every week – on the weekend – to reflect on my week of teaching. It’ll be a good way to record my experiences and also communicate to other people what I’m experiencing.

UPDATE: June 4, 2011

Although the reflection process will continue for many days, months, and years down the future – The Challenge as I have defined it above has officially come to a close. As the 2010-2011 school year enters summer break, I enter a new era as I switch schools, cities, and, most importantly, grades.

But to give thanks and credit to the students who have forced immense growth out of me (and hopefully have grown themselves), I would like to “immortalize” them at this time.
