I am… 20-something years old. Bi-lingual, bi-cultural. Born in Seattle, raised in Japan, studied in the Bay Area and spent a little time in the land of Aloha. Choosing to live in an American city (specifically San Francisco for this year) rather than the jungles of Brazil or an Ashram in India because that in itself is a great big adventure.

This blog is a journal, live record, foot steps, photo blog, meditation, poetry anthology, commonplace book, scrap book, collage, glimpse into my mind, and journey of self-discovery – all meshed into one.

I live by the words of India.Arie, love by the words of John Legend, and reflect by the words of John Mayer.

I believe in art, creativity, infinite possibilities and balance.

I also believe in dark chocolate therapy, reading for hours at a time, walking expeditions, and writing for the public.

Sarcasm is my partner in crime, pessimism is my invisible friend, and I sometimes forget to love myself.

And I’m shorter than you think I am.

My intent is to make my own sunshine and share it with you.
